Raqqa, Jan. 25 (SANA) The SDF organization violated, on Sunday, the ceasefire agreement and launched more than 25 FPV-type suicide drones, targeting Syrian army positions in the vicinity of Ain al-Arab, as well as civilian homes and roads in the town of Sirrin, resulting in several injuries.
The Operations Directorate of the Syrian Arab Army told SANA that this escalation by the SDF organization also led to the destruction of four army vehicles.
The Directorate further noted that the SDF organization repeatedly targeted the M4 highway and surrounding villages, causing injuries among several civilians.
It added that, continuing its systematic policy of detaining residents, the SDF besieged several families near the village of al-Shuyoukh in order to arrest their sons, which escalated into clashes with locals and resulted in injuries.
The Operations Directorate confirmed that the Syrian Arab Army is currently studying its field options in response to the targeting of civilians and its positions, and will take the necessary measures.
