Damascus, Jan 24 (SANA) A government source told SANA that the truce with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has ended, noting that the Syrian government is studying assessing its options.
Earlier this month, the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic announced that a mutual understanding had been reached between the Syrian government and the SDF on a number of issues related to the future of Hasakah province. The statement said the SDF had been granted a four-day period to consult and develop a detailed plan outlining practical mechanisms for integrating the areas on the ground.
In return, the Ministry of Defense announced a suspension of fire across all operational sectors of the Syrian Arab Army for four days, in adherence to the understanding.
