Internal security forces deploy in Tabqa after army operation to restore stability

Raqqa, Jan. 18 (SANA) Internal security forces began deploying in Tabqa city, west of Raqqa province, on Sunday, following a Syrian Arab Army operation that expelled PKK terrorist militias from the area.

The Ministry of Interior said on its Telegram channel that the deployment is part of ongoing efforts to protect civilians, strengthen security and stability, and safeguard vital facilities and property.

It noted that the operation is being carried out in full coordination with Syrian Arab Army units stationed in the city.

The Interior Ministry will continue to take measures aimed at restoring normal life and consolidating stability in Tabqa.
The residents of al-Tabqa welcomed the army’s entry into the city at dawn on Sunday, with public celebration marking the occasion.
