Quneitra, Jan.15 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced on Thursday the village of Saida al-Hanout in in the southern countryside of Quneitra province, southwest Syria.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said an Israeli force consisting of 22 vehicles raided Saida al-Hanout village, briefly arresting three young men before releasing them.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces advanced into the town of Bir Ajam and the village of Breiqa in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
Israel continues to carry out attacks and violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions in southern Syria, as well as raids, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, and land leveling that affects civilians.
Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Syrian territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law. Syria has also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter these practices, and compel a full withdrawal from southern Syria.
