Quneitra, Jan. 6 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday launched a new incursion into several areas of Quneitra’s southern countryside in southwestern Syria.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said that an Israeli force comprising three military vehicles advanced into the villages of Bariqa and Kudna via the entrance of Bir Ajam town.
Another force, consisting of 12 military vehicles, entered Saida al-Golan village from the western entrance of Saida al-Hanout village. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers set up a checkpoint at the western intersection of Saida al-Golan village, while other soldiers raided homes.
Last Saturday, Israeli forces also launched incursions into several villages in Quneitra’s southern countryside.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria, attacks on civilians, arbitrary arrests, and forced displacement. Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory and has called on the international community to take measures to stop these actions.
