Quneitra, Dec. 28 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out an incursion on Sunday into Saida al-Hanout village in southern Quneitra countryside, SANA correspondent said. The contingent, consisting of four military vehicles, entered from Abu Ghaytar hill and detained a local young man while he was grazing sheep.
Earlier today, Israeli forces arrested five young men from Daraa governorate while they were searching for wild mushrooms in farmlands near Qudna town, also in southern Quneitra countryside.
Syria has repeatedly condemned Israeli aggression and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, denouncing incursions into Quneitra and Daraa countryside and the targeting of civilians. The Syrian authorities continue to call on the international community to uphold UN resolutions, end the Israeli occupation of Syrian lands, and assume responsibility in curbing these unlawful practices.
