The funeral, attended by hundreds of Homs residents along with official and popular representatives, embodied the Syrian people determination to stand united against attempts to spread chaos and terrorism, while reaffirming their full support for the security forces in their efforts to protect civilians and safeguard the city’s stability.

Sheikh Mohieddin Salloum, Imam and preacher of the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque, stressed that the bombing was a desperate attempt by Syria’s enemies to undermine the unity of the Syrian people and destabilize the country.
