Al Habtoor: Syria’s unbreakable, its people are stronger than all challenges

Abu Dhabi, Dec.8 (SANA) United Arab Emirates businessman Khalaf Al Habtoor extended his congratulations to the Syrian people on the occasion of Liberation Day, emphasizing that Syria’s achievements in just one year demonstrate a future filled with hope and prosperity.

In a post on the X platform, Al Habtoor said: “A year has passed during which we witnessed the beginning of a new national journey in Syria, written through the efforts of its people and their determination. During my past visits, I saw firsthand the sincere joy of our Syrian brothers, their enthusiasm for work, and their resolve to rebuild their homeland on all levels. In their faces, I saw a deep belief that Syria has begun to return to life, and that what was lost over many years can be restored through determination and collective effort.”

Al Habtoor added: “The world has seen how the Syrian people, despite profound wounds, were able to rise again with remarkable speed. What has been achieved in just one year is a prelude to what Syria can accomplish in the near future. Syria is rich in history, culture, and people, and it can only rise again and regain its place.”

He concluded: “Syria is a nation that does not break, with God’s help, and its people are stronger than all challenges. What we witnessed this year is the greatest proof that willpower prevails, and that nations are rebuilt when hearts and hands unite.”

Across Syria, hundreds of thousands of citizens marked the first anniversary of Liberation Day, taking to the streets since early morning to celebrate and express their hope for a bright future of peace, freedom, and prosperity.
