Higher Committee for Parliamentary Elections Updates Two Electoral Colleges

The Higher Committee for the Syrian People’s Assembly elections issued Decision No. 68, which updates preliminary lists of electoral colleges for the Tal Abyad district in Raqqa and the Ras Al-Ain district in Hasakah.

In a statement via its official Telegram channel, the committee noted that any concerned party has the right to appeal this decision within three days, starting from October 12, before the appeals committee for these two districts at the Tal Abyad Judicial Center.

The committee also extended the deadline for submitting appeals on Decision No. 60, issued on September 28, 2025, regarding the preliminary lists of electoral colleges for the Tal Abyad and Ras Al-Ain districts. The new deadline for these appeals is three days from October 12.

The Syrian parliamentary elections were held on October 5 in most electoral districts across the country. Voting in some areas of Raqqa and Hasakah governorates (Tal Abyad and Ras Al-Ain) will be scheduled at a later date.

Meanwhile, seats in other districts of these governorates, as well as all districts in the Sweida governorate, will remain vacant until suitable conditions are met.
