Captagon Smugglers Arrested in Aleppo, Over 235,000 Pills Seized

In a precise and coordinated operation, the Anti-Narcotics Department in Aleppo Governorate, in cooperation with Internal Security forces, arrested two individuals on Saturday for their involvement in drug trafficking.

The Ministry of Interior said that authorities seized a substantial quantity of narcotics, including, 235,500 Captagon pills and 1,221 grams of hashish, 1,479 Pregabalin tablets (150 mg).

All confiscated items were secured, and the suspects were transferred to the relevant judicial authorities to initiate legal proceedings.

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to combating drug-related crimes and protecting society from the dangers of narcotics, stressing the importance of continued vigilance and enforcement.
