Official efforts to revitalize cultural institutions in Hama Province

Hama, SANA-Syrian Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin Saleh, and the Governor of Hama, Abdul Rahman Al-Sahyan, made a field tour in Hama province to brief on the cultural reality in the province, where they visited the handicrafts market and the old markets, in addition to a number of prominent heritage landmarks in the city.

The visit included a dialogue session that brought together the Minister with a number of local writers and thinkers, during which the participants discussed ways to support cultural activity and enhance the role of intellectuals in public life, at the local and national levels.

In a statement, Minister Saleh highlighted the importance of revitalizing Hama’s cultural institutions, including the Cultural Palace, in line with the city’s history and cultural diversity, emphasizing that the ministry is working to develop the cultural infrastructure across the country’s various provinces.
