Damascus, SANA-The European Union Chargé d’Affaires to Syria Michael Ohnmacht stressed on Saturday the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty and unity.
In a statement on his X account, Ohnmacht underscored the need for “Israel” to respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling for “an immediate cessation of all acts of violence, the protection of civilians, and urgent measures to prevent incitement and sectarian rhetoric.”
Onmacht underlinedthe “need to hold accountable those who violate international humanitarian law.”
