Ottawa, SANA – Jordanian King Abdullah II reiterated his country’s support for Syria’s security and stability.
Petra News Agency quoted King Abdullah, during his meeting in the Canadian capital, Ottawa, on Monday with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, as stressing the unity of the Syrian territory in a way that guarantees its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
King Abdullah recalled that respecting all states sovereignty is a fundamental requirement for creating a political horizon that paves the way for peace and stability in the entire region.
He also highlighted the important role Canada exercises, as a key partner of Jordan, in promoting peace and stability in the region.
