Damascus, SANA – Jusstice Ministry announced on Thursday that it has constituted a committee whose task is to investigate the recent events in Sweida.
The committee’s tasks include uncovering the circumstances that led to the events in Sweida, investigating the attacks and violations against citizens, and referring those proven to have participated in them to the judiciary.
The Committee shall submit periodic reports on the results of its work, and shall submit its final report within a period not exceeding three months from the date of its formation, with the right to seek assistance from any experts, specialists, or competent authorities it deems appropriate.
