Barrack: Syria deserves stability and the Syrians deserve peace

New York, SANA-US Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack stressed that diplomacy is the best way to achieve peace and stability, calling on all parties in Syria to remain calm and resolve differences through dialogue.

On X platform, Barrack said: “Disturbing violence erupted Sunday in Sweida and Manbij. Diplomacy is the best way to stop the violence and build a peaceful and lasting solution.”

Barrack added, “The United States is proud to have helped mediate a solution in Sweida and to be co-mediating with France to reintegrate northeastern Syria into a unified Syria.”

Barrack continued: ” The path ahead belongs to Syrians urging all sides to uphold calm and resolve differences through dialogue, not bloodshed. Syria deserves stability. Syrians deserve peace.
