Homs, SANA –Homs Wednesday Development Conference, held at Julia Palace in the Old City of Homs, has raised more than $13 million in donations to support the reconstruction of the governorate, officials announced.
The event, attended by several ministers and officials, opened with a film on the “Homs Wednesday Initiative,” which calls for rebuilding the city and showcased cultural performances.
Speakers highlighted the extensive damage to Homs in past years across cultural, health, tourism, and education sectors, stressing the need for coordinated efforts by ministries, institutions, and donors to restore the city’s infrastructure and services.
