Damascus, SANA- Interior Ministry said that investigations into explosion occurred Sunday in Maysar neighborhood, Aleppo, revealed that the person who died by suicide had a criminal record and was a drug addict.
Ministry spokesman Noureddine al-Baba said in a statement Monday that investigations revealed that the person took his own life by a bomb he was carrying, due to personal disputes with his ex-wife’s family.
Al-Baba stressed the explosion was not caused by an explosive belt, as reported in initial investigations.
A source in Internal Security Directorate in Aleppo said Sunday that no civilian casualties were reported.
