Manama, SANA-The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in the Duwayla area of Damascus.
In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s “sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and brotherly people of Syria, and to the families and relatives of the victims of this heinous criminal act, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s sympathy and solidarity with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, and its support for its security and stability.
It reiterated its absolute rejection of acts of violence and terrorism that target places of worship, terrorize innocent civilians, and destabilize security and stability, all of which are inconsistent with all religious, moral, and humanitarian values and principles.
