Turkey opens land border crossings for arrivals from Syria

Damascus, SANA-The Turkish Embassy in Damascus has announced the opening of land border crossings for travelers arriving from Syria, following the disruption of air travel due to the ongoing military escalation between Iran and Israel.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Embassy stated in a post on the platform “X” that Turkish citizen, Syrians, and national of other countries who entered Syria by air from Turkey are permitted to return to Turkey via land crossings, provided they present valid plane tickets and documentation proving their residency in Turkey.

The Embassy further noted that individuals meeting these conditions may travel to Turkey overland without the need for additional permits.
