Grandi: Over two million refugees and internally displaced have returned home since December

Geneva, SANA- UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi has announced that over two million Syrian refugees and internally displaced have returned home since last December.

In a post on the X platform, Grandi said: “Over two million Syrian refugees and displaced have returned home since December—a sign of hope amid rising regional tensions “.

 Grandi added: “This proves that we need political solutions—not another wave of instability and displacement “.
