ALECSO launches a committee to evaluate educational conditions in a number of Arab countries

Tunis, SANA – The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) announced the formation of a specialized committee tasked with assessing the educational, cultural, and scientific conditions in Arab countries experiencing emergencies, conflicts, or disasters.

In this context, the Director-General of the Organization, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, met with Mr. Abdul Karim Qadri, Secretary-General of the Syrian National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.

In the meeting, Dr. Amar affirmed ALECSO’s commitment to providing full support to Syria in the fields of education, culture, and scientific research, based on its belief in Syria’s vital role and its right to restore and develop its capabilities in these vital sectors.
