King of Bahrain and Crown Prince Congratulate President al-Sharaa on Trump's decision to lift sanctions on Syria

Manama, SANA- King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa have congratulated President Ahmad al-Sharaa and the Syrian people on U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to lift economic sanctions on Syria.

According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a congratulatory cable to President Ahmad al-Sharaa, expressing his sincere congratulations to the Syrian leader and the brotherly Syrian people on this occasion. The decision, the king noted, comes as a response to the efforts of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

King Hamad praised the move as a positive step toward supporting Syria during this pivotal stage in its modern history.

He emphasized that the initiative will have a profound impact on President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s efforts to achieve security, stability, and prosperity and to fulfill the aspirations of the Syrian people for development.

Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent a congratulatory cable to President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Trump’s announcement of lifting economic sanctions on Syria.
