President al-Sharaa holds a phone call with the UAE President to discuss developments in Syrian-Emirati relations

Damascus, SANA- President Ahmad al-Sharaa held Sunday, a phone call with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, during which they exchanged views on the latest regional developments and discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.

During the call, President Al-Sharaa emphasized the importance of continued coordination between Syria and the UAE, praising Abu Dhabi’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and its role in promoting regional stability, especially in light of escalating challenges.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Syrian people and its support for their reconstruction and security efforts.

He also noted his country’s desire to expand economic and investment cooperation with Syria in the coming period.

This communication comes within the framework of the two leaderships’ efforts to deepen bilateral relations and enhance joint Arab action to confront common challenges and support stability in the region.
