Syrian-Saudi discussions to develop land transport sector

Damascus, SANA-Minister of Transport, Yarub Badr discussed Sunday with the Saudi Ambassador to Syria,Faisal al-Majfal and his accompanying delegation aspects of joint cooperation in various land transport sectors and ways to develop them to the benefit of both countries.

Syrian-Saudi discussions to develop land transport sector

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the facilities that can be provided in this regard and the stages of joint technical and strategic cooperation, which contributes to the integration of the transportation sectors with the goals of economic and social development.

Dr. Badr stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields to serve their interests.

In turn, Dr. Al-Majfal stressed the need to exert efforts to develop bilateral relations and exchange ideas and visions to advance the transportation sector in Syria, rebuild it, and restore its luster in the next phase.Syrian-Saudi discussions to develop land transport sector

Dr. Al-Majfal pointed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role in providing all necessary facilities to serve the transportation sector in Syria through the exchange of expertise, leveraging its models and experiences, particularly in the area of Saudi investors’ expertise in organizing land and domestic transportation.
