Turkish Defense Minister: preserving Syria’s stability is important for the region’s future

Ankara, SANA-Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler stressed on Monday that establishing stability in Syria and preserving its territorial integrity is important for the future of the region.

Anadolu news Agency quoted Minister Guler as saying in a speech, while chairing a video conference meeting with military unit commanders inside and outside Turkey, “Establishing stability in Syria and preserving its territorial integrity is of crucial importance for the future of our region.”

The Turkish minister noted the Turkish Armed Forces are determined to continue supporting Syria’s security and defense capacity-building.
