Kuwait strongly condemns Israel's attacks on Syria

Kuwait, SANA-The State of Kuwait strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law.

“The State of Kuwait expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks by the Israeli occupying forces on a number of areas in the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, which have injured many people and seriously damaged facilities and infrastructure,” according to a statement from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on its official account on the X platform.

The Ministry affirmed in its statement that “these attacks represent a continuation of Israel’s flagrant violations of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and a dangerous escalation that will increase the level of violence and tension in the region.”

Kuwait’s foreign affairs stressed the need for the international community, in particular the Security Council, to fulfil its responsibilities to put an end to these violations and to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.

The Ministry expressed the solidarity of the State of Kuwait and its stand with the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, stressing the importance of respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
