Amman, SANA- Jordan welcomed the announcement of the formation of the new Syrian government, expressing its hope that this government will fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people to live in freedom, equality, dignity, and peace after their long suffering.
“The Kingdom is keen to deepen cooperation with the new Syrian government in various fields, reflecting the historic and strategic relationship between the two brotherly countries,” Jordan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah was quoted as saying by Petra news agency on Sunday.
“It also stresses the need to build relations based on mutual respect, mutual support and trust, and to address all issues in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly countries.”
Ambassador Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s unwavering commitment to aiding Syria’s reconstruction on the basis of principles that maintain its stability, security, and unity.
