Kuwait, SANA- Kuwait welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic, noting that it is an important step to enhance security and stability.
Kuwait News Agency quoted Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait as saying in a statement that “The State of Kuwait welcomes the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and civil and military institutions in northeastern Syria into the administration of the Syrian state, as it is an important step in the efforts to rebuild the state and its institutions and enhance security and stability in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.”
The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s position in support of the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of sisterly Syria.
