Arab Parliament condemns attempts to threaten security, stability, and civil peace in Syria

Cairo, SANA- Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, has condemned the attacks carried out by the remnants of the deposed regime on the security forces which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries.

Al-Yamahi stressed in a statement issued Saturday the Arab Parliament’s support for the national institutions in Syria, expressing rejection of any attempts aimed at threatening internal security, civil peace and stability in Syria or interfering in its internal affairs.

He reiterated the Arab Parliament’s support to everything that would achieve security and stability in Syria and help it overcome the challenges of the current transitional phase in peace.

Al-Yamahi affirmed Arab Parliament’s firm stance on supporting all efforts to achieve security and stability in Syria and help it overcome the challenges of the current transitional phase peacefully.

He emphasized standing by the Syrian people and supporting their aspirations for security, development, stability, and a dignified life.
