Damascus, Dec. 15 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Nidal al-Shaar, announced the formation of the Syrian-British Business Council, aimed at strengthening economic relations between Syria and the United Kingdom.

According to a decision issued Monday, Monzer Nazha has been appointed Chairman of the new council, with Mohammed Heikal and Samar Shamsi Pasha serving as Vice-Chairs.
