Jordan condemns the terrorist attack on joint Syrian-US security patrol near Palmyra

Amman , Dec. 13, (SANA) The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Syrian security forces and U.S. forces near the city of Palmyra during a joint field tour, resulting in several casualties and injuries.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fouad al Majali affirmed in a statement on Saturday the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Syria and the United States, and its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in the region.

Al Majali reiterated the Kingdom’s support for Syria in rebuilding on foundations that ensure its territorial unity, sovereignty, security, and stability, enabling it to overcome terrorism and safeguard the rights of all Syrians.

He expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the governments and peoples of Syria and the United States, as well as to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a swift recovery.
