Energy Minister Meets Syrian Expatriates and Saudi Businessmen in Riyadh

Riyadh, SANA- Minister of Energy Eng. Mohammad al-Bashir met several members of the Syrian expatriate community residing in Riyadh, as well as a group of Saudi businessmen.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Energy to advance the sector, as well as the achievements made in recent periods despite major challenges.

He emphasized the importance of investors and economic partnerships in supporting this trajectory.

For their part, several Syrian and Saudi businessmen presented proposals and initiatives for joint development projects aimed at contributing to the advancement of Syria’s energy sector.

They affirmed their readiness to help rebuild infrastructure and expand investment opportunities in both conventional and renewable energy.
