High-Stakes clashes set for FIFA Club World Cup Quarterfinals

Washington, SANA-The lineup for the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States is now complete following the conclusion of the Round of 16.

Eight elite clubs have advanced to the next stage: Bayern Munich (Germany), Chelsea (England), Palmeiras and Fluminense (Brazil), Paris Saint-Germain (France), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Real Madrid (Spain), and Borussia Dortmund (Germany).

The quarterfinals promise thrilling matchups. Fluminense will face Al Hilal at Camping World Stadium the day after tomorrow. On Saturday, three more clashes will unfold: Palmeiras vs. Chelsea at Lincoln Financial Field, Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund at MetLife Stadium.

In the first semifinal, the winner of the Chelsea vs. Palmeiras match will face the winner of the Al Hilal vs. Fluminense clash. In the second semifinal, the victor of the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich match will meet the winner of the Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund encounter.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, hosted by the US concludes on July 13. This edition features a new 32-team format and is primarily held on the East Coast to avoid scheduling conflicts with the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which is taking place simultaneously on the West Coast.
