Damascus, SANA – The Salamiyah women’s basketball team has been promoted to the First Division clubs after topping the final tournament.
In the final tournament matches, Salamiyah women’s team secured victories in their first game against Al-Fayhaa Club and in their second game against Al-Sahel team.
Despite a loss in their third match against Mhardeh, Salamiyah ultimately led the final standings of the tournament, thus qualifying for the First Division league.
This promotion marks Salamiyah’s return to the First Division after a seven-year absence, during which they competed in the Second Division.
