Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Basketball Federation announced Tuesday the appointment of American coach Joseph Stiebing as the new head coach of the Syrian men’s national basketball team. He will lead the team in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup finals and the qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA World Cup.
Coach Stiebing has extensive brings a wealth of experience, having previously led the national teams of Jordan and Qatar in World Cup competitions. He has also coached several clubs in the Gulf region.
