Paris, SANA- Paris Saint-Germain has been crowned Ligue 1 champion this season after defeating their guest, Angers, 1-0 in the 28th round of the competition.
The only goal of the match was scored by Désiré Doué in the 54th minute. The referee’s final whistle marked the Parisian club’s coronation, securing the title six rounds before the league’s conclusion.
This victory marks Paris Saint-Germain’s fourth consecutive league championship. The club now leads as the most decorated team in the history of the French League with 13 titles, surpassing Saint-Étienne, which has won 10 titles.
