Jakarta, Sept. 15 (SANA) Syria’s National Mini Football Team continued its strong campaign at the 2026 Asian Mini Football Cup in Indonesia with a commanding 8-1 victory over Pakistan on Tuesday, strengthening its position in the continental competition.
The win marked Syria’s third victory in the tournament, alongside one defeat, boosting the team’s chances of advancing to the next stage.
Syria had earlier bounced back from its previous setback with a convincing 5-0 victory over Japan, collecting six points from two wins and one loss at that stage of the competition.
The national team produced another strong performance against Pakistan, showing attacking efficiency and effective control of the match to secure a comprehensive victory.
Syria will seek to maintain its positive momentum in the remaining matches as it aims to advance further in the tournament and compete for further achievements on the continental stage.
