Tashkent, Aug. 14 (SANA) Syrian weightlifter Ali Mohammad won a gold medal at the Asian Youth Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, after lifting 182 kg in the snatch.
Mohammad, representing Syria’s national weightlifting team, claimed the title in the over-110 kg category.
Fellow Syrian weightlifter Mohammed al-Kateb finished seventh in the 85 kg category at the same championships.
