Hama, May 3 (SANA) Al-Nawair Club has officially announced on Sunday the signing of American player Jamir Coleman and Spanish player Julio de Assis to join the team for the Final 6 phase of the men’s basketball league.
Coleman is an outstanding player capable of playing both the 3 and 4 positions. He brings extensive experience, having played in several countries, including Georgia, Mexico, Venezuela, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Julio de Assis, who plays in the 4 position, boasts rich experience in European leagues, having played in Spain, Iceland, Venezuela, Austria, and Lebanon.
The al-Nawair team is preparing to face al-Ahli Aleppo in their first match of the Final 6, scheduled for next Wednesday at the Nasih Alwani Hall in Hama.
Currently, al-Nawair sits in fourth place in the basketball league standings with a total of 27 points, having achieved 11 wins and 5 losses.
