London, April 17 (SANA) Aston Villa advanced to the Europa League semi-finals after a commanding 4-0 victory over Italy’s Bologna in the second leg of their quarter-final tie on Thursday.
Ollie Watkins opened the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by goals from Emiliano Buendía in the 26th minute, Morgan Rogers in the 39th, and Ezri Konsa in the 89th.
Villa had already taken control of the tie with a 3-1 win in the first leg, progressing 7-1 on aggregate.
They will face fellow English side Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals after Forest eliminated Portugal’s Porto.
