Homs, March 26 (SANA) Al-Karama secured a 1-0 win over Al-Wahda on Thursday at Kafr Aya Stadium in Homs, central Syria, in the seventh round of the Syrian youth football league.
Al-Karama youth coach Mohammad Jomaa said the team includes a group of promising players and strong capabilities, adding that it is a competitive side aiming to contend for the title.
Bassem Bakr, performance analyst for Al-Wahda’s youth team, said his side delivered a solid performance, focusing on defensive organization and attacking transitions, but failed to secure a positive result despite clear control for much of the match.
With the win, Al-Karama raised their tally to 11 points, moving into second place in their group behind leaders Al-Jaish, while Al-Wahda remain third with seven points.
