Riyadh, Feb. 19 (SANA) Al-Nassr advanced to the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League for the second time in the club’s history after defeating Turkmen side Arkadag 1–0 in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie.
Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored the only goal in the second minute, securing victory for the Saudi club. Al-Nassr had also won the first leg 1–0, progressing on aggregate.
Al-Nassr will face al-Wasl of the United Arab Emirates in the quarterfinals after the Emirati side eliminated Iraq’s al-Zawraa.
