Cairo, Jan. 13 (SANA) Syria participated Tuesday in the 49th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, held at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, marking the country’s first participation since the establishment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Syrian delegation affirmed the Syrian Arab Republic’s openness to enhancing Arab cooperation, exchanging expertise, and building effective partnerships in youth policies, in a way that contributes to strengthening the role of young people as a key factor in supporting stability, growth and innovation across the region.
The participation reflects Syria’s restoration of its position within the Arab sphere and demonstrates its active and balanced presence in the work of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports.
