Rabat, Dec. 23 (SANA) South Africa secured a 2-1 victory over Angola in the opening match of Group B at the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
Oswin Regan Apollis put South Africa ahead in the 21st minute, but Angola responded quickly, with Manuel Cafumana leveling the score in the 35th minute.
The winning goal came in the 79th minute when Lyle Foster struck from outside the penalty area to give South Africa the edge.
