Capitals,Dec. 12 (SANA) Fiorentina secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday in the fifth round of the UEFA Conference League at Stadio Artemio Franchi stadium, Florence.
Moise Kean put the Italian side ahead in the 18th minute with a composed finish, but Dynamo hit back early in the second half through Mykola Mykhaylenko, who leveled the score in the 55th minute. Fiorentina regained control late in the match when Albert Guðmundsson struck in the 74th minute to seal all three points.
The win lifts Fiorentina to 11th place in the standings with 9 points, while Dynamo Kyiv remains stuck at 3 points in 29th place.
Elsewhere in the competition, AEK Athens edged Turkey’s Samsunspor 2–1, and Spain’s Rayo Vallecano earned a 2–1 win over Poland’s Jagiellonia.
