London , Dec. 3 (SANA) Erling Haaland has set a new Premier League milestone, becoming the fastest player in history to reach 100 goals. The Norwegian striker broke a 30-year-old record previously held by Alan Shearer, who reached the century mark in 124 games.
Haaland, however, achieved the feat in just 111 appearances, surpassing Shearer’s long-standing record by a significant margin. The likes of Harry Kane, Sergio Agüero, Thierry Henry, and Mohamed Salah trail far behind in the race to 100 goals.
Haaland’s historic 100th goal came in a 2-0 win over Fulham during match week 14, thanks to a brilliant assist from Jeremy Doku. Despite facing mounting pressure in recent weeks, the goal showcased Haaland’s relentless focus and physicality, underlining his status as one of the Premier League’s most lethal strikers
