The Syrian U-17 national football team defeated Afghanistan 3-1 in their third match of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers, held at Yangon Stadium in Myanmar.
The Syrian team will conclude its qualifying campaign with a match against host nation Myanmar on November 30.
The winners of the seven qualifying groups advance directly to the finals, along with the four best second-placed teams.
