The Syrian national cycling team won two medals, a gold and a bronze, at the Arab Cycling Championship held in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.
Hala Zidane of the Syrian team won the gold medal in the under-23 cycling category, while Limar Suleiman earned the bronze in the women’s individual time trial.
More than 130 athletes from nine Arab countries: Iraq, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Libya are participating in the championship.
