Syria’s youth athletics team claimed a total of 18 medals at the 3rd West Asia Athletics Championship, held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The medals were distributed as follows:
• 3 gold
• 9 silver
• 6 bronze
The championship featured teams from Kuwait, the UAE, Yemen, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, host country Lebanon and Syria.
