Doha,SANA – Syrian powerlifter Yahya Salou swept four gold medals at the West Asian Powerlifting Championship in Doha, triumphing in squat, bench press, deadlift, and overall total in the Masters 66 kg category.
Syrian Powerlifting Federation President Bilal Bahsas hailed the victory as a strong start for the national team, noting the high level of competition among 160 athletes from across West Asia. The tournament, featuring participants from ten countries, runs through August 22.
